Networking and PR - The Salvation Army San Francisco Echelon Chapter has a number of social networking events a year. They hope to connect with other young professionals in the city and grow the Echelon Chapter. It is the goal that we help to tell the story of The Salvation Army to young professionals who are just starting on their philanthropic and volunteer journey.
Echelon San Francisco launched a hygiene initiative to provided toiletries for Harbor Light residents and homeless individuals in San Francisco, benefiting over 550 people.
Raised $1000 and sent 4 Kids to go to summer camp at Camp Redwood Glen where they had the opportunity to have fun being outdoors, learn new skills, and deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ.
Brought toys to 95 children in the San Francisco Metro area.
Echelon San Francisco has worked hundreds of volunteer hours helping with afterschool programs at the SF Mission Corps, homeless feedings at Harbor Light Center, Summer programs at Camp Redwood Glen, Christmas programs in SF Metro, recovery case management at the Bayview Impact Center and even landscaping within the center of SF!
We have launched meaningful and engaging fundraising initiatives using corporate partnerships such as with the SF Symphony and TOTO.
To date, Echelon San Francisco has raised over $6,400 in funds, not including in-kind donations and most funds raised are matched and reinvested in our chapter and community.
